Ashley Jones is a two-time Emmy Nominee for Outstanding Younger Actress in 1999 and 2000 for her work as Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless. Currently she stars as Bridget Forrester, the beautiful pre-med student and daughter of Eric Forrester and Brooke Logan on the #1 show in the world, The Bold and the Beautiful, airing in over 120 countries worldwide. In 2005, she is also Emmy nominated for the Viewers Favorite Award for Most Irresistible Combination with co-star, Jack Wagner. Ashley has worked steadily since she moved to Los Angeles. She filmed over seven films for both television and theatrical release, including the comedy Old School, with Luke Wilson and Will Farrell, Devils Prey, The Kings Guard and the comedy Extreme Dating, which arrives in theatres soon. At 15, after two years of high school at The Performing and Visual Arts, Ashley began her film and TV career with the CBS mini-series, Fire Next Time, where she met her future husband, Noah Nelson. Ashley was nominated for the prestigious Youth in Film for her work in the mini-series. She went on to join the cast of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, for the beginning of the first season. After a few television movies and gueststars, she joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Megan Dennison. Ashley also managed to graduate with a BA from Pepperdine, attending in both Malibu and in Florence, Italy, while working. Her additional television work has included Strong Medicine, 7th Heaven, The District, Without A Trace, V.I.P., Cold Case, and recurred on For the People opposite Leah Thompson and played Beth Flaherty on Crossing Jordan with the former Bridget on B&B, Jennifer Finnigan. Her movies-of-the-week include Our Son, the Matchmaker and She Fought Alone. In addition to her extensive television work, Ashley performs the role of Kathy in J. Cast Productions national tour of the Off-Broadway Smash Hit Comedy Vanities performing throughout the USA and Canada. Working around her TV shooting schedule with co-stars Sonia Satra and Rachelle Lefevre. see links below Born in Memphis, Ashley and her family lived in Tennessee for five years. Her father, Shawn Jones was a minister and took a job preaching in Texas. At five, she filmed her first commercial. Ashley acquired the passion for theatre at the age of nine, after years of national commercial and print work. She was a part of Actors Theatre of Houston, starring in many productions including The Women, Ah Wilderness, and Neil Simons Brighton Beach Memoirs. She opened to rave reviews at 12 in The Chalk Garden, by Enid Bagnold, where she was on stage the entire show. In Los Angeles, Ashley did a production of Harold Pinters Betrayal at the Rait Theatre in Malibu and in 2003 the comedy Writers Block. She looks forward to someday returning to the stage in Texas at The Alley Theatre. After working at the Volunteer Center in Malibu in 1998 and 1999, Ashleys passion for service grew.
